8. How should I prepare for my Obagi peel?

For 5–7 days before your session, avoid:

• Intense sun exposure or sunbeds

9. What’s the aftercare like after an Obagi Blue Peel Radiance?

• Apply SPF 50 daily — non-negotiable. Sun exposure post-peel risks pigmentation
• Skip retinol and acids for 72 hours — let your skin heal first
• Moisturise regularly — your skin will feel tight and dry initially
• Skip heavy makeup for 24 hours — let the skin breathe
• Avoid exfoliation, scrubs, or harsh cleansers for 1 week
• Avoid the gym, saunas, swimming, and very hot water for 48 hours

Mild flaking, dryness, or tightness over the following 3–7 days is normal and expected — this is the controlled exfoliation working.

10. Is there any downtime after the peel?
