7. When will I see results from cryolipolysis?

Cryolipolysis is the slowest-to-show but longest-lasting body contouring treatment in clinical aesthetics:

8. Will cryolipolysis help me lose weight?

No — and any clinic saying otherwise is misleading you. Cryolipolysis is body contouring, not weight loss.

It works by destroying localised fat cells in stubborn areas — it doesn’t reduce overall body weight, change your metabolism, or replace diet and exercise. Best results come when cryolipolysis is paired with:

• A balanced diet and active lifestyle
• GLP-1 medication for clients pursuing wider weight loss (cryolipolysis works exceptionally well on the stubborn areas GLP-1 doesn’t reach)
• Other Thriyv modalities including EMS for muscle building, lymphatic drainage for fluid clearance, and infrared sauna for metabolic support

9. What is PAH (Paradoxical Adipose Hyperplasia) and what’s the risk?

PAH is a rare complication where, instead of shrinking, the treated area develops firm, enlarged fat tissue. It’s the cryolipolysis risk clients fear most — and the risk you should ask every Manchester provider about.

The honest reality of PAH:
