You have just stood up. The cannula is out. If you are comparing rooms in the city, start with who assessed you, whether the provider is on the CQC register, and what is in the bag.
Dr Callum Shields, MBChB, LLM, MPhil, MRCS (ENT) leads the clinic at 14–16 Whitworth Street, Manchester M1 3BS, registered with the CQC after a registration assessment. Suitability is a consult. Individual results vary.
Read the team on our about us page. Face-to-face history sits on consultations.
Why an IV drip belongs in a CQC-registered clinic
An IV goes into a vein. That is a clinical act. You want a named clinician in the room, a premises you can walk into, and a provider you can look up the same day.
Thriyv Ltd is registered with the CQC after a registration assessment. The regulated activities are treatment of disease, disorder or injury, and diagnostic and screening procedures. Search the CQC register for the provider name Thriyv Ltd. A rating is a separate published record.

What Myers’ Cocktail is
Myers’ Cocktail is a named IV of magnesium, calcium, B vitamins and vitamin C. At Thriyv it is £225. The infusion runs about 60 minutes. The same visit starts with a clinical assessment. There is no separate consultation charge. We also offer vitamin C IV, NAD+ IV and glutathione IV in Manchester.
Price, slot and the booking card sit on our IV drip Manchester page. That is the live page to use if you want to book Myers’ Cocktail.
What happens at Thriyv: assessment then infusion
First you arrive at 14–16 Whitworth Street. Then a clinician takes your history and checks whether you are suitable that day. If you are suitable, Myers’ Cocktail is given over approximately 60 minutes. After that the cannula comes out and you leave with aftercare and a number to call.
If you are not suitable at assessment, we stop. Pregnancy and certain heart, kidney or blood-pressure conditions may mean an IV is not appropriate. We also delay if you are unwell or the history is unclear.
Book the visit from the IV drip Manchester page. Face-to-face intake is also on consultations.
Our clinic also offers blood testing Manchester with doctor-led written results packs.

Frequently asked questions
What is a Myers’ cocktail?
A named IV of magnesium, calcium, B vitamins and vitamin C. At Thriyv it is given in Manchester city centre after a clinical assessment. £225, about 60 minutes. Detail and booking sit on the IV drip Manchester page.
Is IV vitamin therapy safe?
Safety starts with assessment. A cannula goes into a vein, so the clinician needs your history, medicines, and whether you are well that day. Pregnancy and certain heart, kidney or blood-pressure conditions may mean an IV is not appropriate. We delay or decline if the intake is unclear. After you leave, call 0161 566 5099 if something feels wrong. If it is urgent, use NHS 111 or 999.
Do I need a medical assessment before an IV drip?
Yes. A face-to-face assessment and medical history come first, on the same visit as the infusion if you are suitable. Screening is how we decide whether you lie down that day. Book that first visit through consultations, or start on the IV drip Manchester page.
How long does a Myers’ cocktail take?
The infusion takes approximately 60 minutes. The clinical assessment is on the same visit.
Who should not have an IV drip?
Not everyone is suitable. Pregnancy and certain heart, kidney or blood-pressure conditions may mean an IV is not appropriate. We also delay if you are unwell or the history is unclear. That decision is made in the room. If we stop, we do not run Myers’ Cocktail.
